However they sometimes forget that we do need refreshment. But you can't even convince them either! So how do you go about it? Well, like everything this too has a workaround.

What Can I Do About It

Schools and other places normally block only a particular browser so that you cannot access a site. Like they might only block Internet Explorer so that you cannot access Bebo using IE. However, what they don't think or care is, they don't block Firefox or other browsers. So your first step should be to check if any browsers are working apart from your usual ones. Install new browsers if needed. If this solution is not working, move on to the next one.

If the above solution doesn't work it means your site has blocked server access to that particular site. Meaning, when you try to open www.bebo.com your computer sends a request to your school's server asking a permission to open that site. But the school server has instructions to block that particular query. So it doesn't allow the access. However, there is a workaround for this. All you need to do is, perform this action on different server than your school's computer. To do this, you need to use a proxy. A proxy is a computer program that allows you to do just this!
