How to Remove Dents
There are many different ways of removing dents in a car some are painless and some are very hard to do but it is usually the ways that are hard to do that come out the nicest in the end. No matter how you got the dent chances are it doesn't look very good and they will also cost you an arm and a leg to get repaired at a panel beater. Here are two ways of getting rid of as dent.
Carbon Dioxide Method
Using this method you should be able to get rid of small dents about the same size as a roll of cello tape. There is also a huge benefit to doing it this way and that is that it wont usually take any paint off of the car. To do this method you will need two things a hairdryer and a can of liquid Carbon Dioxide.
To do this you heat the dented area with a hairdryer for about 1 minute you then quickly want to spray about 10 seconds worth of Carbon Dioxide in a can and then wait about 10 seconds and the panel should pop back into place. You should then wait for the ice to disappear and then clean the panel. The panel should now be back to how it was before the accident.
Using Body Filler
You can use body filler also known as bog to fill in the dent but to do this there will be a lot of work involved and that panel will have to be painted again but this will come up with a very nice finish.
So what you want to do is take off all the existing paint on the dented part of the panel. Then mix up some Body Filler and start putting it all over the dented area and make sure you put it so that the Body Filler is higher than the panel. Wait 24 hours for the bog to completely harden and start sanding it to the shape that the panel was before the accident. Now primer and repaint that panel and it should be back to normal.
