Different ways of Killing the Queen

There are many different ways of killing the Queen ant but these are the most tried and true methods how to get rid of those nasty pests once and for all. The first way is to get the hose and stick it down the ant hole although it seems cruel they need to be gone. This will drown the Ants and will fill all the ant tunnels with water so hopefully they will never come back again. The next way is to get lighter fluid on spray it all over the colony and light it. This does not do as good of a job as the water but it also wont leave your lawn wet for days but remember have a bucket full of water ready.

Using Ant Poison

The theory behind ant poison is that once it kills some ants those will be taken back to the colony and eaten by the other ants but this rarely kills more than a few hundred ants and they always come back but if you are going to use ant poison only use it if you have no pets or young children as it could make them very sick. You want to lay ant poison in a small container such as the lid off a soda bottle.
