There are different methods in different countries to do the call forwarding. You can do the call forwarding of all the numbers or a particular number or for the time when your line is busy. You have to get in touch with your telephone operator to get the codes and procedures. In this article we would be having a look at the call forwarding procedure in Europe and USA. Still before going ahead you should check with your telephone operator as a precautionary measure.

How to Call Forward

If you want to forward all the calls in USA then dial *72 followed by the number to which all the calls will be forwarded. Dial *73 and this service will be deactivated. Similarly for Europe you have to dial *21* followed by the number to which call is to be forwarded and then the #. For deactivation the code is #21#.

You can also forward the calls from the selected numbers. For USA code is *63 then the number to which calls will be forwarded. The list of the selected callers whose call is to be forwarded can be created by dialing # then the number and then again dialing #. If you want to stop this service then call *83.

If you want to forward calls when the phone is busy then for USA dial *68 followed by the go to number. *88 is the number to be dialed for deactivating this facility. For Europe the code to be dialed is *69* then the go to number followed by #. Deactivation can be done by dialing #69#. For Europe you can replace 69 by 67 for this facility.

If some of your calls are not answered then you can forward those calls in Europe by dialing *61* followed by the phone number to which calls will be forwarded and then the #. Call #61# to deactivate this facility.

These are some basic techniques for call forwarding and it is possible that your telephone carrier will charge you for this. So before availing the facility it is good to call your operator and enquire about the charges.
